Deutsch-Französische Video-Game-Preis


Das Deutsch-Französische Jugendwerk (DFJW) ist offizieller Partner von SpielFabrique. Damit steht uns ein kompetenter Kooperationspartner zur Seite, mit dem wir gemeinsam die Beziehungen, Projekte, Jobs, Praktikas, Erfahrungen, Co-Produktionen und Finanzierungen sowie den Vertrieb und das Marketing zwischen den Game-Entwicklern der beiden Länder besser fördern und entwickeln können.

Der Deutsch-Französische Video-Game-Preis

Since 2016, SpielFabrique organizes the German-French Video Game Award hand in hand with the Franco-German Youth Office (DFJWOFAJ). This Award Ceremony takes place every year in one of the partner country during a major event of the Video Game Industry.

The first edition(2016) and the latest (2018) took place at the Game Connection during the yearly Paris Game Week.  The edition 2017 took place in Cologne during the Deutscher Entwicklerpreis and this year it will take place in 19th August at the Gamescom in Cologne.

2019 Edition

The next prize-giving ceremony will take place in Cologne, on August 19th. This 4th edition will be organized in collaboration with Business France.

It will also be the occasion to our teams to pitch their projects in front of international investors.

The studio Seed by Seed one of our incubated teams will be running for the prize.


2018 Edition

The latest Price was rewarded to the German studio Ludopium, one of the studio, who took part to our acceleration program. Thanks to this price they were able to present their prototype to an international jury and to make a co-production with ARTE France.

2017 Edition

This edition was awarded on December 6th in Cologne (Germany) during the 2017 Deutscher Entwicklerpreis, by the French Consul of Düsseldorf, Vincent Muller, the General Secretary of the Franco-German Youth Office, Markus Ingenlath, and Odile Limpach from SpielFabrique. The prize money – 1 000 Euros – was bestowed to a Parisian studio, BeatMe, for a rewarding platform with intercultural and commercial potential in Germany.


Edition 2016
