We identified theree public funds in Italy that could help finance your video games from early stage to marketing and production.
This is a first national funding dedicated to video game project.
First Playable Fund is a national fund financed and managed by Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico (Ministry of Economic Development) through Invitalia e infratel (Ministry’s in-house companies).
The fund was created in 2020 and launched in 2021 with the aim to support the development of the digital entertainment industry.
From €10,000 to €200,000 for projects up to 50% of the eligible total costs (projects with total costs under €20,000 are not eligible). Each applicant can submit max 2 projects.
Stages of conception and pre-production, preparatory phases for the realization of the video game prototype (=first playable version of the game).
