Archive – European Games Accelerator

The European Games Accelerator enable video games studios to become more professional, develop and finance ambitious international projects and support their growth strategy as a company

The program targets the studio’s specific needs in term of business and management for video games studios and explores different ways to finance, develop and release a video game on the market.

European Games Accelerator

What do we offer ?

Our Acceleration program is a 6 months yearly program (March – August) dedicated to the success of selected Indie studios in Europe.

The programme is composed of:

-personalized mentoring on business topics,

-one on-site and one online workshops with international video game industry experts

-Several webinars with international experts and companies

-One final pitching/networking event.

The goal is to bring expertise on every business aspect of video games development: financing, marketing, business models, publishing and investment. The program is supported by public partners. That makes the program free for the eligible studios.

How to apply ?

Apply between 1st January and 1st March each year with your projects and studios!

Our program : from March to August

March:

– Online Kick-off meeting – define your mentoring roadmap

– 2 days Workshop in one of our country partners – meet experts and studios to get feedbacks on your projects

April-June: Webinars on publishing, financing, marketing and communication strategies

May: Meetings with your mentor

June : Online Workshop – meet experts and studios to get feedbacks on your projects

July: Meeting with your mentor

August : networking and pitching event with publishers, financiers and investors.

After the program: stay in our studio and mentors community and participate in  our webinars on publishing, financing, marketing and communication strategies

Our story

SpielFabrique was founded in September 2016. Since then, we have completed several accelerator cycles with the support of an international jury consisting of educators, publishers, and independent and AAA studios. We are looking for studios distinguished by high-quality projects as well as international and economic ambitions for long-term successful corporate development.

The program focuses on aspects such as growth management, strategy optimization, market positioning, communication strategy, and public and private financing.

To date, we have successfully supported 36 companies.

Individual mentoring

The online coaching is tailored to the needs of the respective team based on face-to-face meetings with country and industry experts. The three-hour personal interviews allow the coach to determine the specific needs of the team and to develop a suitable media offering for the project. Subsequently, a follow-up interview is held and the next steps are prepared jointly.
