Apply for the SpielFabrique EU Accelerator Program where we support you and your studio to achieve ambitious growth and success – all without compromising your unique cultural value!
Since 2016, the European Accelerator has supported over 50 studios in development – We are proud to show you the track 2023!
Our pan-European program comprises 6 months of workshops, networking, and 1-on-1 mentoring (March-August). We will help you make the leap from having a functioning prototype to becoming a financially independent and successful studio.
Since 2016, the program connects young studios to high-caliber experts, mentors, publishers, and investors. We path your way to financial independence, strong control over your IP, and a powerful support network across Europe and beyond.
You will:
Level unlocked:
The most successful program graduates are invited to pitch their games to investors and publishers at Gamescom 2023 in Cologne, Germany, or at exclusive events later in the year.
The program is co-funded by Creative Europe Media and run in collaboration with Artic Game and Polo de Contenidos Digitales.
Based on an entrepreneurial mindset, business skills and sustainability, the program focuses on business and management mentoring for video games studios and explores different ways to finance, develop and release a video game on the market.
Topics covered include:
A key element of the program is connecting experienced business mentors with indie studios to share their knowledge, business skills, and international perspectives on a 1:1 basis. Because each studio and project is unique, each team has its own mentor who will support them throughout the program.
Sessions are practical, interactive, and led by the best experts in Europe. Topics covered include UX, branding, legal contracts, community management, publishing agreements, and much more!
The program is strongly oriented towards international markets and deliberately chooses to regularly take your studio literally and “virtually” outside your country, so you can network and meet new allies and supporters.
We foster innovation by bringing a diverse community of developers together. We offer free-to-access networking and a chance to seek support, training, and advice from our inclusive community during the program.
The Accelerator Program runs every year since 2016.
We’ve been successfully supporting 50 Indie studios from Europe
released video games (demo included)
alumni studios in negotiations with financial partners for equity investment
co-production projects currently in development
The program will start on April 20 and 21, 2023 with a kick-off event in Malaga (Spain), and we will wrap up in style in August during Gamescom in Cologne (Germany).
The kick-off is a great chance to meet and network with other participants, hear inspirational speakers and meet your mentor – who builds a personalized roadmap with you.
