Renate Schmid worked for Arte and Sony Pictures as an inhouse lawyer. In 1998 she joined the law firm WBS.legal as a lawyer. There, she mainly advise companies from the media industry, especially on drafting contracts and negotiating. Furthermore, Renate is a lecturer at the Cologne Game Lab and the Mediengründerzentrum in Cologne, among others. Additionally she has training as a data protection officer and mediator.
Renate studied in Tübingen, Freiburg and Geneva.
