In its fifth consecutive year, SpielFabrique proudly presents the European Games Night – the exclusive Indie game showcase and networking event that kicks off Gamescom.

Hosted in Köln, on the 20th of August 2024, the European Game Night is presenting the most promising Indie video game studios across Europe and brings together industry leaders from all over the continent.

Pitch Contest and Award

Dive into a series of captivating pitches from up-and-coming studios across Europe (2 studios maximum per country). Each studio has a thrilling three-minute window to showcase their best, displaying their creativity and potential.

Franco-German Prize with OFAJ-DFJW

Celebrating its eighth year, the OFAJ-DFJW Award, with its €1,000 prize, joyfully spotligvhts young video game developers who have made remarkable contributions to Franco-German relations. This prestigious award not only recognizes their talent and involvement but also elevates their profile in the international gaming community. It’s a festive acknowledgment of the vibrant creativity and cross-cultural collaboration that define our thriving industry.

Networking cocktail
